Happy New Year! Its 2020 and I still can’t believe how fast we breezed past 2019 and the holidays. Like many of you, the beginning of a New Year is a time of reflection for the past and planning for the future.

One of my favorite ways to reflect and plan is to sit down with my notebook and planner with a cup of Bigelow Constant Comment Tea. If anyone knows me, you know that I am a true lover of tea and prefer it to coffee. So, what better way to commemorate Hot Tea month than to incorporate it into my daily planning and reflection routine?

What Does Constant Comment Tea Mean to Me?

Tea for me goes back to my southern roots and my mom. Most people automatically think about the south when they hear tea in the US. So, in true southern girl fashion, I like my tea hot and/or cold. My mom was also a tea drinker and I remember thinking how classy it was to drink it. When she passed away, I even had an adult tea party as a bridal shower. Not only did it feel nostalgic to me but it was my love of tea being connected with the love that I have for my friends and family again. It’s safe to say that some of my fondest memories involve the beverage.

  Now as an avid traveler, I am learning how much tea plays a role in the lives and families of many different cultures around the world. Tea is a social drink that brings everyone together. It tells a story and plays a role in history. I find it fascinating how we are all different yet the same in this aspect and how one beverage serves as a commonality.
